Analog Journal 001 / Charlottetown, Montreal, Toronto by Sean Berrigan

I've started to get back into shooting personal work on 35mm film. It's given me a renewed passion and enthusiasm in the medium that I really don't think was there when I was growing up and it feels amazing. I could go on for hours about the reasons why I think every photographer should shoot even a small bit of work on film but i'll save you the reading. I felt that I should try and share as much as I can on my blog of snapshots of memories spanning across 2017 and 2018. I used lots of different types of film stocks such as Kodak Ultramax 400, Kodak Portra 400, Kodak T-Max 400, Kodak Gold 200. I've become obsessed with documenting everything I do on film, I want to be able to look back 30 years from now and have hard physical copies of photos that stood the test of time and didn't disappear after potential unfortunate hard drive failures. Film gives you something digital can never replicate and thats nostalgia mechanically captured on millions of light-sensitive silver halide crystals within the film emulsion.

So ya... HUGE FAN!

Cottage In The City // Georgian Bay Spirit Vodka Smash Launch by Sean Berrigan

Have you ever seen a canoe floating in an infinity pool on a rooftop in Toronto? Last Tuesday, we had the opportunity to go to one of my client's launch parties and this canoe was there. Georgian Bay Spirit Co invited us to the launch party for their new Vodka Smash mixed drink, which is now available at most LCBO locations.

After releasing their insanely popular Gin Smash, the Vodka Smash is the fourth product in the company's portfolio. They invited friends, industry people and a ton of Canadian influencers to try out the Vodka Smash and other delicious cocktails over a beautiful fire and even better summer inspired munchies (Lots of PEI Oysters to go around). There was a very informative tasting with Owen from El Rey, where he explained in detail what you're tasting and smelling when tasting these products, as well as how to properly taste spirits, among other tid-bits on cocktail craftsmanship.

"Desperately" Photo Session with Dante Leon by Sean Berrigan

A long time friend of mine Singer/Rapper/Songwriter Dante Leon, was in town and reached out to link up and shoot some press photos for his new single "Desperately". We took a stroll through the Distillery District here in downtown Toronto and scoped out as much nice light as possible before it disappeared. After finishing up in the distillery, we popped over to this sweet soft pink building in our neighbourhood in Parkdale. You can check out the single on most streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify, Soundcloud.
