Last Friday, we had the incredible opportunity to go beach camping with a big crew of our friends in French River on the north shore of Prince Edward Island. We had a ton of dogs, drinks, bbq and drenched clothing. The rain we experienced never deterred anyones moods or anything. It rained so hard the whole time that it was actually quite refreshing after you get a couple drinks into you alongside some herbal medicating. Packing a 6-person tent in torrential downpour is not something I would recommend, but it left some great memories none the less.
We were recently in Montreal and NEEDED to get some good brunch in while we were downtown. No questions asked, Passé Composé was the spot we needed to go to. We had been there a few months back and we thought it would be the perfect place to take our friend Katlyn for her first time in Montreal. The day started out pretty rainy and gloomy, but the drive there was pretty peaceful and good music made it even better. What better way to start your day then getting dope breakfast when you're hungry.
The spot is located in the Gay Village and everything is pretty colourful around there. We walked passed some beautiful murals and had to snap a few pics. The menu was pretty extensive and incorporated exactly what the french do best: french toast, fois gras, and anything really. Needless to say, all three of our meals were so delicious that we ended up getting too full!
At the first of October, we had the opportunity to head over to Brooklyn, New York to photograph a wedding in Bay Ridge during Hurricane Joaquin. It was a pretty crazy weekend overall weather wise. We tried our best but attempting to check out Brooklyn, Manhattan and some touristy things proved to be difficult and ended up with a lot of wet clothes and the chills. The trip was still enjoyable though. Here's a bunch of images below. Some of the places below are as follows.
-Kings County Imperial Restaurant in Williamsburg
-Buvette French Brunch Restaurant in the West Village
-Grand Central Station
