Brunch at Baddies by Sean Berrigan

After just having an incredible dinner yesterday at La Cubana, we decided to all trek over to a new spot today for a quick brunch. We heard about this incredible cafe/restaurant at Lansdowne and Bloor that had an insane menu ranging from incredible breakfast sandwiches to vanilla bean pancakes with fresh fruit and edible flowers, it's a great spot that does coffee right.

A "La Cubana" Experience by Sean Berrigan

I always heard about it but never got my act together and actually went there. Toronto's incredible little Cuban culinary gem La Cubana has long been succeeding in fulfilling cuban food lovers appetite for well made, delicious cuban comfort food. We had the opportunity to visit the Roncesvalles location and we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in, we were greeted with open arms by a long time friend Olivia who turns out to be managing that location. I'm not a food writer so i'll get on with it but this is one restaurant you cannot sleep on like I did people!

Nightmare In The Afterhour by Sean Berrigan

It's always a blast hanging with Rashid St. James, and this occasion was no different. Nightmare In The Afterhour is a new project Rashid's been working on and soon to release. We had a meeting months ago at SoHo regarding the album and the direction he wanted to take the album aesthetically and how he envisioned the visuals and we came to a common ground. We "snuck" into an abandoned factory in the west end of Toronto and was blown away by the crazy amount of space we had available to us with 6 or 7 floors of emptiness, each with it's own look and feel. We wanted to try a bunch of different looks while we were there, some worked and some didn't but overall everything went pretty damn good. You can check out some of Rashid's music below.
